I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of becoming a beekeeper, or indeed anyone just interested in bees generally. I had a really good day, learnt an awful lot about bees prior to taking the leap into beekeeping, and to actually go to the hives in the afternoon was real icing on the cake. Becky (and her crew) were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and really engaged with all of us. Again, I would thoroughly recommend this course!

As a novice beekeeper I thought it would be useful to get advice and support from an experienced apiariest. I’d heard of Becky and as she ran a course locally and inexpensive ,I signed up. What a wise decision. The course was friendly, informative and “hands on”. I strongly recommend this course for anyone interested in learning about bees and keeping them.

I attended the course early last year and I’m so pleased I did. Having thought about taking the plunge into beekeeping but rather worried at what the hobby would entail, this course was just what I needed to give me the courage to start with my first hive. The day was informative and clear. The practical of going into the hive and actually handling frames and seeing the bees up close and personal will help you decide if this is for you. It certainly was for me and now I’m two hives in and ready for the flow. I can highly recommend this course if your interested in this wonderful hobby.

The course was very well run and informative. The theory section was engaging and the hands on part of the day gave a really good introduction into beekeeping life. I would highly recommend Becky and the team

Having kept bees a long while back, and my friend wanted to get into berkeeping, we booked ourselves on one of Beckys bee courses. Very good, information was brilliant, some things had changed since the last time I had bees so was a brilliant revision for me. The trip out to the Apiary was good, never been good at spotting Queens so was nice to have it demonstrated.
